The room is $475 a month and is about 11 x 11 (aprox. 120 square feet). It is completely furnished: bed, desk, shelves, closet, nightstand, bureau and chair, including bed linens and pillows. There is a common sitting area just outside the bedrooms.

You are responsible for keeping the room clean and in order - there is a washer and dryer downstairs for free. I take care of the general cleaning of the house. There is a big screen TV in the living room with free cable; free internet is also included with the price of the room. In the kitchen you will have you own cupboard space, and your own shelf space in the fridge. There is a stove and oven to cook and bake with. There are dishes, eating utensils, as well as pots and pans. There is a dining room with a toaster, blender and microwave. There is one bathroom: you would have to share it with your 2 other roomates - male or female. A small deck is just off the side of the house and there is a backyard.

The bus stop going directly to Cape Breton University is a seven minute walk away - the trip to the university itself is about a 10 to 15 minute bus ride. We are a 10 minute walk to 3 different grocery stores, the pharmacy, and movie theatres. Downtown Sydney is only a short walk from there, where you will find the public library. Should you have a car, there are parking spaces at the front and side of the house.
